Tina
One of my clear, early formative memories is of Tina. My mother sold merch at arena rock shows in Sacramento when I was a kid, and sometimes I would go with her. I was only about 6, but security guards knew me and I could wander freely all over the venue, including right up to the front of the stage. I got to see many iconic artists perform, but hands down my MOST vivid memory from this time was looking up at Tina's gorgeously muscular thighs, from just a few feet away, as they shimmied and shook beneath a sparkling green tasseled mini dress. The moment was so many things at once: explosive, powerful, playful, sexy... It will be burned into me forever.
